Since when do we call children with Down syndrome retarted?!? Whoever started this had really good intentions, but to call Ryan retarted crosses a line!!! Shame on u!!!!

There was a TV show entitled "Life Goes On" which aired at the same time as the original "Saved By The Bell" series. The main character on that show was named "Corky," but he was often referred to by other characters on the show as "retard" or "retarded." There was a famous review of "Life Goes On" from the late 19802/early 1990s where Corky was referred to as "retard" in a review printed in a famous newspaper - I think it was something like New York Times or Washington Post.
